Kendall Ciesemier
Kendall Ciesemier is 14 years old. In 2004, she began working to raise money to help AIDS orphans in Africa through World Vision, an international relief and development organization working to promote the well being of all people - especially children. Kendall’s first goal was to raise $60,000 and she recently raised her goal to $1 million.

Hilary Lister
Hilary was not born quadriplegic, in fact Hilary was quite the sporting child. However, Hilary was diagnosed with a degenerative disease, which would slowly limit the use of her body as she became older. Tempted in her darkest moments to end her pain and suffering, an introduction to sailing in 2003 provided a fresh impetus and transformed life for Hilary. In 2005, Hilary Lister made history by becoming the first ever quadriplegic to sail solo across the English Channel.

ONE also calls for debt cancellation, trade reform and anti–corruption measures in a comprehensive package to help Africa and the poorest nations beat AIDS and extreme poverty.

The Campaign to Stop Global AIDS is about telling political leaders three things:
Donate the Dollars! – that means providing more money to fight the disease with prevention, care, treatment, and research and making sure funds are used effectively.
Treat the People! – that means making sure there's reliable access to affordable medication for all those living with AIDS.
Drop the Debt! – that means providing deeper, fairer debt cancellation for impoverished countries so they can tackle problems including AIDS, hunger, education and more.

An obstetric fistula develops when blood supply to the tissues of the vagina and the bladder (and/or rectum) is cut off during prolonged obstructed labor. The tissues die and a hole forms through which urine and/or feces pass uncontrollably. Women who develop fistulas are often abandoned by their husbands, rejected by their communities, and forced to live an isolated existence.

Created to locate, foster, vet, and place in forever loving homes, purebred dogs previously used as breeders in Puppy Mills and Commercial Kennels.
We house feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical attention for, and spay/neuter the dogs rescued from a life of pain.
